June 2021 Sketchbook

Hey everyone! This sketchbook is mostly doodles I did while recovering from top surgery - so, a lot of Vitya drawings and character design stuff for Délicatesse. 

Idk why it took me so long to realize uploading the sketchbook like this is 100x more convenient for everyone so...Sorry, lol. I think I'll post them like this from now on. 

Other than work on Délicatesse, I've been reworking some of my ideas for my ocean story pitch (I'm not sure if I gave it a name here? I've been referring to it as Ofelia). July's sketchbook will probably be a lot of doodles from that project. I want to lean more into the story being a surrealist horror, but I'm also worried that deciding to make it a horror specifically will make it less scary. Does that make sense, lol? I have way more of an affinity for stories where the horror spends most of its time as an undercurrent. 

I don't have a concrete update for Map of the Heart for you yet, but I'm hoping to have one soon. As of now, I plan for it to be the project I undertake once Délicatesse is finished.
