(CW: Dialogue in these pages includes continued discussion of an anti-fat remark and a brief instance of comparing foods. If you want to skip these pages, they are images/pages 4 and 5. Alternatively, if you need more detail, see the bottom of this post.)
I've included the final pages with text, as well as pages 3-5 without text, and the unedited scans of these pages. I think I'd like to keep uploading final pages on Thursdays instead of Wednesdays, if that sounds good for everyone.
I hadn't planned on using tones for these pages, but I think I like it more than just flat spot grays. I'm trying to keep things simple tho! If any lettering/balloon placement looks weird or doesn't read well, feel free to let me know. I've been staring at these pages so long I can't tell anymore, lmfao.
Other than that, I'll be back next week with another batch of pages. Hopefully more than 5, but we'll see how things shake out. Thanks for reading, as always!
(More info on the CW. I want to be thorough about this because food comparisons can be upsetting to people with eating disorders/disordered eating. The comparison being made is between champagne and red wine, and is not based on any nutritional research I did, but is based on some reading I did about an opera singer nearly a century ago, who only drank champagne because she was afraid of gaining weight. Prim will call back to this discussion a few more times in the comic, but no other anti-fat remarks or food comparisons will be made).
