Still working on a number of performance tweaks. A recent windows update had MAJOR driver conflicts that both set me back around 5 hours AND have resulted in minor performance problems I am not addressing. During updates and performance tweaks I noticed the AQUA engine was taking a MASSIVE amount of GPU resources. While the Effects for underwater Exploration remain the surface water is now both stylized, stable AND has a shoreline animation system for WAVES! Personally, I think this looks MUCH better and a better framerate is always nice!
I would like to "thank" Windows for Crashing every 5 goddamn minutes since 11AM after their last so-called update.
Nothing I love more than debugging an inferior operating system at 9PM on Sunday so I can hopefully use it at 6AM on Monday.
I'm Just Gonna Be Blunt Y'all would have likely already had access to this earlier today but...y'know...Windows.
That's a damn frustrating feeling. Working 6+ extra hours on a Sunday because someone at Microsoft probably wasn't working at all. Drives disconnecting, GPU reverts back to its default settings, Monitors not working after a Raw driver install, the Explorer locking up from INTENSE operations, like switching from one folder to another ...fun times. Progress is being made. Just MUCH slower than I would prefer. (edited)
