The second chakra is the water chakra. Can you feel within yourself the qualities of water? Fluid motion, change, adaptability, taking shape to fit the environment around you, the ability to transform between solid, liquid and gas, the power of life, the ability to flow through the structures of your life. You are mostly made of water. How beautiful! Let's explore this element as we move through these simple yoga poses.
This is a simple yoga class to warm up your body and connect you with the element of water, a fluid, changing, adapting force. This is a simple flow with only a handful of poses. Each part of the class involves gentle rhythmic movement synchronized with the breath to create a feeling of simplicity, focus and flow.
This yoga class will teach you some poses to improve hip flexibility, release stress and give you a sense of mobility. The sacral chakra is at the back of the pelvis (the sacrum) and all around the region of the pelvis and reproductive organs. Once you feel grounded in root chakra's earth energy, you can start to play with the movement of the sacral chakra's water energy. You are able to travel, adapt, adjust, welcome change and adventure.
