Hey y'all!! I'm really excited about the stuff in this sketchbook. I've finalized a lot of clothing designs for Map of the Heart, and started doing some design + concept work for an OGN pitch -- all of which you can see inside. (The comic at the end of the sketchbook isn't a final comic for a pitch to be clear, its waaay too messy for that. Just trying to capture the vibe i'm imagining).
I made a note of this inside the sketchbook, but I'm not going to include Tufan's clothing designs that are based on Bashkir clothing until I've talked with a sensitivity reader. I've went back and edited older sketchbooks to remove old designs as well. Though I've done a lot of research, I don't want anyone looking to my designs as a point of reference for Bashkir clothing. I might be being a little overcautious about this, but! Better than having no caution at all. Here is a really cool article on Bashkir embroidery/ornament if you're interested!
