At long last, an idea that began as a bitchy doodle I drew in college because I was sick of being broke and surrounded by rich kids, is a fully fledged book.
I sent a query to an agent who passed on my last novel but said she liked my writing, and sample pages to two agents that I pitched to last year who told me to send samples when the book was finished. With any luck, the fact that it's going to multiple agents will get me a little higher on the reading list. But even then, I shouldn't expect to hear anything back for a month or two.
So... now I just need to not think about it for two months.
