The Perfect Bisexual Anime | Bi Identity, Queer Chaos & Scum's Wish (Kuzu no Honkai)

In honor of belated Bi Visibility Day, today we will take a dive into the controversial, salacious and highly dramatic anime that rocked 2017's world - Kuzu no Honkai aka Scum's Wish. As an anime known for its sensual depictions and messy, complicated relationships it is also the one anime displaying the bisexual experience the most thoroughly and prominently in all of anime. We'll take a look at the bisexual characters as well as those with proximity to the bi and broader queer experience, highlight a swath of other LGBTQIA+ characters who also are present within the story as well as dig into the broader narrative of Scum's Wish, expose this narrative's secret agenda and why fundamentally all aspects of Scum's Wish are inherently bisexual.
