Kyoto Video finally ventures into the world of 70s anime with a historical title that came out at the tail end of the decade, The Castle of Cagliostro. While it is remembered more as Hayao Miyazaki's directorial debut, the film itself actually had an influence on animation way before anime like Akira got popular.
