Tears of Magic - Quickfeet Clan

A race anthropomorphic felines, consisting mostly of tigrans and pantherians. Quickfeets are extremely agile and stealthy, known worldwide as great warriors and infiltrators. Most of them have a great sense of justice and like to aid people in need, while some become ruthless assassins. Their home country is called Dalanz, located by the south of the Gulf of Changing Tides, with Stonewall to the north and Karagan to the west.

People of Dalanz live rather ordinary lives, dedicating themselves to farming, fishing and trading with other nations. However, most of their traditions originate from a time of war, when everyone was ready to defend their home at any time. Around the age of seven, all children are taken from their parents to live in dorms and be trained in military arts until they become fourteen years old. This method, often called "forging claws for half a life", makes their military feared in the whole region, despite not being very numerous. They are also highly regarded as bodyguards and mercenaries all around the world.

The Quickfeet Clan Chieftain is decided through a competition in Dalanz, usually when the current leader dies in battle or reaches old age. The Chieftain title can also be challenged through a formal battle, but that has never happened in history. The current leader of Dalanz is a Quickfeet with both tigran and pantherian blood, Tiga, the "Black Tigress" or "Widowmaker".
