Early Access - Chapter Nineteen

Hey, how's it going...

I've been kinda dreading this video for a number of reasons.  Firstly... there is no proper green model for Grom.  In the Chronicle Vids I just used a photoshopped PNG but... it always looked a bit weird when he was standing completely still whilst everyone else was breathing and wobbling around him.   

I knew I'd eventually have to figure something out but I was just kinda like... 'meh... I'll worry about that when it happens'.  And now it's happened.  lol.  But luckily... there was a way to sorta tint him a little bit without also tinting his clothes in my editing suite.  It's not brilliant... but it'll do.

Also... I decided I wanted to really commit to how feral he is after he drinks the Mannoroth juice.  So I kinda went for it.   It feels a bit flat to me but... I tried.  lol.  I tweeted about it last week but... I usually don't get too worried about my voice acting because I don't take it too seriously.  But... for some reason... Grommash's big moment makes me feel really embarrassed lol.  I'm not looking for validation here;  I just think it's important to sometimes take yourself out of your comfort zone - even if the end result is a fail.

In fact it's just important to fail sometimes.  My nephew does not stick at anything he's not immediately good at.  And, at the moment, he's only like... 7 or 8... or something... (lol I should probably know how old he is)… so it's not the end of the world.   But it does worry me.  Cos... with that attitude... he's never gonna be good at anything.  It's like that old expression...

'If, at first, you don't succeed.  Do it again, you prick' 

But, alas, I'm not gonna say anything to my sister about it.  I don't have any kids so wtf do I know?  Nothing worse than someone who doesn't even have children giving other people parental advice.  I'm sure he'll be fine.  

Oooh - Almost forgot - Q&A?  How do you all feel about that sorta thing?  Do you even have questions for me?  I could probably do like a monthly voice recording or something where I answer your questions.  Could be another perk to being a patron.  But it all depends on whether there's enough interest.  Cos, if it's one or two questions - I could just answer those in real time tbh.  But yeah - let me know.  Ask a question or something.  And I will try to be as candid as I can... unless you ask me like "what's your favourite pets name" and other security questions cos... I'm not a complete moron.  lol.
