Hello,

This one's a bit more interesting.  Nice callback to the short story 'Dark Mirror' by Steve Danuser which you can download here... https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/story/short-story/dark-mirror

I may actually do one of those short stories next, ya know.  I still have the massive undertaking of adapting most of the novels but... might be a nice change of pace to do one of the short ones.  It would be finished a lot quicker.  Could probably do it in one shot.

Anywho - T'is BlizzCon.  Not gonna lie; I'm not expecting much.  Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised by some big announcement but the schedule makes no mention at all of StarCraft so... balls.  Plus, after successfully avoiding the leaked stuff by ignoring Twitter and other peoples videos / discords... IGN went ahead and spoiled something pretty big for patch 9.1 by putting it in the goddamn headline.  Thanks Games Journalism... you've done it again!

Side note:  Does anyone else feel like marketing emails from Blizzard arrive weirdly late?  Almost like you're an after thought?  I swear I get emails from Blizzard informing me of promotional things and events about two weeks after they've started / taken place.  BlizzCon itself has kinda snuck up on me because I really don't pay attention to twitter and shiz.  It's a benefit of not being a WoW news channel.  I don't have to be in the loop.  I don't have to stay up all night making videos about big announcements and reacting to cinematics.  I could just... go to bed early tonight and find out what was announced tomorrow morning.  Probably won't though - cos... I enjoy watching game expos.  E3 was always like the 'SuperBowl' for me.  Cos I'm a nerd.

People think I'm rude because I don't engage at all on social media but the truth is... you know those people who post screenshots of how they spend like 15 hours a day on Twitter?  Well i'm the opposite of that.  I spend 0 hours a day on Twitter.  I barely read my newsfeed.  And when I do... i'm looking at posts from several days prior and have to scroll up for about 10 minutes to catch up.

I used to be more active.  Mid-20s I was on Facebook a lot... posting random crap.  But then I got a bit older and started thinking... 'I don't think people are actually supposed to be this open with each other'... so I just stopped.  Except when I drink.  And then I end up shit-posting and making myself look like a weirdo.  Basically... every time I tweet... I'm probably pissed.  That can be our little secret.  lol.  Except when I tweet a video link cos that's usually like... mid-day.  I don't get drunk at lunchtimes.  I'm not an alcoholic... I'm just British.

Anyway - Thanks, as always, for your support.  Hope you enjoy the vid.  And I'll see ya in the next early access post.
