Hey folks, news came up that an archiving site has scraped an earlier post containing the perma-link to join the discord server and posted it in public. Since we had a stranger join the server today without pledging before being banned the mod team figured it'd be a good idea to make the server a little bit more secure to make sure only patrons and other invited guests stay.
For now the link from said earlier post has been disabled, so the only way currently to join is to link your discord account onto your patreon account in your patron settings on site, and let the patreon bot join you automatically to the discord server with your pledge. I didn't want to force folks to link 3rd party apps together since I figured it was an extra step that I would personally avoid but me and my mod team are working on another fix.
