Robbie's heart immediately leapt into his throat when he realized where Colt had taken him. It was the baby aisle! He was both elated and nervous as he saw the rows and rows of diapers, baby powders, creams, lotions, baby food and accessories before him. He could feel himself shake in nervous anticipation to think that he would be going into the baby aisle with his very own Daddy.

He imagined Colt going down the aisle and picking out one thing after another and tossing it into the cart. His diaper grew tight at the thought of it. Of course he knew that there would be no question in anyone's mind who they were for. Anyone who happened to enter the diaper aisle while they were there was bound to figure it out with how Robbie was dressed and acting, and where he was seated.

Robbie looked up at Colt with big eyes, sucking his thumb and clutching his teddy.

"Aww, look at you, you're shaking like leaf! Are you excited, or scared, little one?"

"Boff," said Robbie. Cold planted a big kiss on his forehead and his cheek and ran his warm hand over Robbie's cheek.

"It's okay, sweetie. I got you. We'll take this one step at a time." Colt's voice was so reassuring. He always made Robbie feel safe, and he always assured Robbie that things would be alright. And up until now, Colt had kept that promise. Robie gulped and nodded.

"One step at a time, Dada..." Colt smiled. Robbie was back to calling him Daddy instead of his given name. This made Colt very happy. It meant that Robbie was settling into his little persona here. The battle with his big boy ego was nearly over again. And there would be more such battles as he pushed Robbie a little further and a little further. But they would vanquish Robbie's big boy instincts each time until there was nothing left but his sweet baby self, and he could be little anywhere and everywhere.

"Okay, baby boy, first stop num nums. Let's see here..." Robbie looked at the stacks and stacks of baby food jars and blushed. Of course he had been eating out of a high chair for weeks at this point, but he hadn't actually eaten out of a baby jar. Somehow, that idea just gave him butterflies in his tummy.

"Well," said Colt, picking up a four-pack of baby food and studying it intensely with a frown. "I heard that a lot of these have heavy metals in them. Not super healthy for my baby boy... I might have to get some help from the staff," he said, looking over at Robbie. "Who do you think would know about baby stuff?"

Robbie blushed harder and buried his face in Mr. Cuddles again. "Daddyyyyyy," he whined. "Stop embarrassing me."

"What? I'm just shopping for my baby. There's nothing embarrassing about that. I want to make sure this food is healthy for the little one. I'd say that makes me a good Dad. Maybe I should get a good Dad award instead. Robbie groaned. Colt was beginning to sound a little too much like a dad. Luckily for Colt, a woman happened to enter the aisle at that moment and immediately went for a jar of organic baby food.

"Um, excuse me ma'am? I was wondering if you know what foods would be safest for babies."

"Oh, I know all about it," she said, looking up to Colt and Robbie. Then, she did a double take. "I-is that your baby?" she asked.

Colt looked around. "I don't see any others around here," he said. Then he looked back to the lady with a cheeky grin, his handsome face dimpling, and she smirked a bit, her face growing slightly pinker.

"Ah, well... I don't feed my little boy anything with rice in it. Or anything from a brand that begins with G. I stick with the safest options - veggies. The rest I make myself. This one looks big enough for solid foods," she said, raising an eyebrow as she looked Robbie up and down, "but if you want to feed him baby food from the jar, avoid rice and carrots, stick with peas, sweet potatoes, and squash."

"Thanks," said Cold, looking back at Robbie with an I told you so expression on his face.

"Uh oh, looks like someone's getting a little blushy," she said, chuckling as Robbie did his best to disappear into Mr. Cuddles' fur. Robbie was looking extra adorable at that moment, and there was nowhere for him to go to hide it. "By the way, the diaper companies just started making their diapers in larger sizes. I have the coupon code on my phone if you want it."

"Wait, really?" asked Colt, taken aback as she pulled out her phone.

"Oh yeah, I'm the coupon queen, honey. Oh, you meant about the bigger size... yeah, well, my little Lozzie is outgrowing his diapers too. I'd love to have him in training pants but he just doesn't seem to take to potty training. Clearly yours doesn't either."

Colt looked over to Rob and his eyebrows went up as he saw how much more Robbie's pants were bulging, and his hand went right to the hole of Robbie's shorts to make sure.  "Oh gosh, you're right. I think I know where we're going after we finish our trip through the baby aisle."
