Getting there!

The latest comic is running a bit later than I expected - mostly because I ended up working on three different stories simultaneously! So I have no one to blame but myself. 

In the meantime, I thought you might be interested in seeing some of the stages my drawings go through at the moment. This is for a panel from my next comic.

My process is continuing to evolve while I write and draw these stories. And I’ve been separating out layers with colours at times to make it easier to keep track of what I’m doing.  Although I love working in black and white, sometimes I do like how these pages end up looking with a bit of colour. 

I have got a colour comic planned, btw, I’m just not sure the story works yet. Stay tuned!

PS: Talking to the guys who are filming the Suit this morning. They are considering expanding it from a short film into a feature! Not sure what I think of that. I love the idea of a short film (which essentially would be a film of the comic) but expanding into something bigger is exciting too.
