I continue to live in a relaxed mode while my grandmother is visiting me! It's so nice when someone else does some of the household chores for u, haha!🌸 But the extra free time played a cruel joke! I started watching a very silly reality show on Netflix! It's called Dubai Bling!😅 The show depicts the 'hard life' of several Dubai women!🦄 One of them married an old billionaire who died a couple of years later, leaving her a huge inheritance. Another dreams of a second home because there's not enough space for her clothes in the first one. The third one is worried about aging and that soon it will be difficult for her to compete in the market of TV hosts!🐰 It all looks maximally absurd and staged, but, as it turns out, it's great entertainment!🥳 Haha! Plus, it's quite interesting to see how wealthy people live in a completely different context!😯 What do u think about the latest news on the published testimonies in the Epstein case? I'm surprised at how much the publicly available information is distorted in once-respected media!😔 Lately, I only read the Financial Times😎 In general, it seems to me that publications focused on economics manipulate the least in their articles and headlines nowadays. Today, I want to tell u about a documentary film and a TV series that I recently watched!🐰 First, I watched a new series on Netflix called The 8 Show. It’s a very dark story😮 The series introduces us to a game similar to the one in Squid Game, but even more brutal and sophisticated!🌸 Eight participants live on eight different floors. Every minute, a certain amount of money is added to each participant’s account; the higher the floor, the higher the amount!💕 The participants must entertain the viewers to extend the game time, allowing all players to earn more money!🤯 I won't reveal all the details (to avoid spoilers), but I will say that the entire game is an allegory for the capitalist leviathan that is consuming us right now!😭🌸 I haven’t been this deeply affected by such revealing works in a long time, but the creators here managed to convey all the absurd brutality of the reality that surrounded us after the 2008 crisis with remarkable precision!🥲 The second work is a documentary by Lauren Greenfield called Generation Wealth. The film itself is good, but it feels somewhat rushed! It’s as if the director couldn’t fit all her ideas about the problems of modern capitalism into such a short runtime!🦄 But together, these two works make a strong impression!💔 I recommend watching the series first, followed by the documentary! So I watched Pinnochio!💕 Guillermo del Toro came up with the idea to make this stop-motion 15 years ago! Everything is made by hand, it's just incredible! 🐰 And how great he told this story, how subtly he changed it, how much he breathed into it! This work will forever be in my heart! Take a look if u haven't already!🥰 There is also a wonderful documentary on Netflix about how this work was created! And to complement the stop-motion theme! Very interesting collection of cartoons The House! Also on Netflix!💜 And I almost passed The Last of Us Two! Left just a little bit! I'm at the moment when u stop understanding who to empathize with more! Haha!😅 I couldn't stand it today after another message about how a person wanted to send "me" money somewhere after talking "with me" on Facebook! Made a post about it there! 😭 Be careful, please don't send money to anyone who communicates with u on Facebook or anywhere else on my behalf! I don't chat with anyone on social media! Never! Haha! And I finally got my car! How cool! Hooray! 😍 At first it was scary, I seemed to have forgotten how to drive! Haha! But after five minutes, my confidence returned! The recent days have gotten hot outside! And now I try to walk as much as I can every day!🌸🥰 In the evenings, I continue my TV show binge-watching sessions!🐰 This time, I started watching a comedy-thriller (I guess that's what u can call this genre) about a stalker girl!😮 Did u know that 90% of stalking cases involve stalking women? Therefore, incidents of stalking men often go unnoticed! The series is called Baby Reindeer! And it well illustrates why u shouldn't give people, especially those u barely know, false hope! It's better to make things clear right away so that the other person can't imagine things that aren't there at all!🥲 But this doesn't always help, sometimes people just don't hear u when you directly tell them that nothing can happen between u! I try to avoid such people🐰 Overall, I recommend watching it! I'm only on the second episode, but I think I'll finish watching it over the weekend!🌸💕 When I started doing this job, I immediately thought about not wanting to create a space for doublethink when interacting with people who support me!🦄 Some people understand that all this is just a playful space, entertainment!🤗 But there are those who take everything at face value, and I wouldn't want to hurt the feelings of these people!🥰 Therefore, I think the ideal format of communication is a secular conversation, talking about some news and so on!💙 What do u think?
