remember my old sneakers? they’re over 7 years old, and honestly… not super comfy anymore. my friend saw them recently and was like “wait, you still wear those?” and yeah… that stung a bit. so I’ve decided: time for a new pair. here in Bangkok today. apartment viewing day. I’m nervous, but the good kind. just did a 1.5-hour motorbike-taxi ride across the city — my longest ever. it felt endless, but I loved it. headphones on, music loud, heart full. legs hurt a bit after, but I’m okay. so many things I saw on the way… so many views I wanted to draw just from memory. I went out for the first time in a while — my friend had a birthday party at a villa with a pool. we danced, swam, played VR, ate cake and veggies, and even watched movies. one guest brought a sketchbook, and everyone drew something in it. I made a little drawing too! at one point, I jumped into the pool wearing my favorite round glasses… and they disappeared underwater. we searched for a long time, and in the end, the birthday boy found them. it’s funny — those glasses always come back to me, even when I lose them in random places. it was a warm, happy night.
