The next day, in the morning, we decided to get our own way on a bike to a park with a glass bridge (will come later) which was 40 km from the hotel. This was not the best idea! The battery indicator on the bike was lagging, so halfway through the ride our bike suddenly (almost) died! We were on some kind of highway, there were no shops or houses nearby where we could charge the bike. Luckily, after driving a couple more kilometers we accidentally discovered another place, Rice Field National Park. There were no other options but to charge the bike near this park and go for a walk. A ticket to this park cost about 100 yuan at lunchtime (50% cheaper in the evening) ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ˜ฏ But Iโ€™ll be honest, even though our original plan was cancelled, this spontaneous trip was great! The park offers beautiful views of the mountains, rice plantations, there are many flowers and other cool things. The only thing I didn't understand was why there were dinosaurs there? How does this relate to everything else? ๐Ÿ˜… The next thing we visited was the hot springs. These are not healing springs, just hot water with various aromatic additives. I don't have many photos from there because I was wet most of the time and it wasn't convenient to take pictures of other people. By the way, there really were a lot of people! Mostly Chinese, who looked at us very surprised, and their children really wanted to attract our attention by splashing water around them. That was cute ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ’ฆ The rest of the time, everything was as usual - we drove around the city, went somewhere to eat or drink delicious drinks, and explored everything around us. At the end of the day, we stopped by the club street again, but did not immediately go inside. We walked around, looked at what was still open and what had already closed. By the way, since it was next to the water, there was a pier where there were so many beautiful and probably very expensive boats! I liked the calm atmosphere next to it. Well, in the end we went into the club again, literally for 5 minutes just to look,

So, the second day was crazier - in the morning we walked around our Russian-Chinese district, went to look at the local popular shopping center "Pineapple" (there will be more photos of this later) and had a snack there on the 4th floor where the food courts are located. I had a large portion of soup with cabbage, pieces of beef, chopped tomatoes, green onions and a boiled egg - it was tasty and a little spicy (I love and can comfortably eat spicy foods ๐Ÿคช), but the portion was really huge so I left half of the dish uneaten โ€ฆ After that, we went to look at the beach, which by the way was very close to our hotel, which made me very happy. The beach is clean and well maintained. On the side of the hotels there are a bunch of small establishments that offer food and drink. Many places are just opening (or recovering) after Covid - it's great to see it with your own eyes when life begins to bloom again right in front of you. By the way, the tourist city of Sanya opened about 4 months ago - both for us foreigners and for Chinese living in other parts of China. Therefore, many of the things that used to work may be closed or just starting to work again ๐Ÿ‘ In the evening we returned to the shopping center, next to which there is an open-air market called Bikini Bottom (no wonder the shopping center is a pineapple ๐Ÿ˜…). An amazingly diverse market - from sea turtles and oysters to some strange alcoholic liqueurs that they give you to try for free. More photos and videos from there also later ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ™ƒ My favorite part of all travel is finding a local authentic area and trying to connect with the locals. And so it happened! Late in the evening, we returned to the hotel, left the bike in the parking lot and went to the non-tourist part of Sanya (although it was also very close to the hotel). There we had some dinner and went to a grocery store, which seemed to be open almost 24 hours a day, which is rare. We bought some beer and the owner of this store kindly laid out a small table in front of us and gave us chairs. So we decided

The first day in the city of Sanya - we were taken to the Yuhuan Hotel from the airport by private car, the journey took about 40 minutes, when we arrived it was about 5 o'clock in the morning - we were temporarily accommodated in a room that was worse than we had chosen before (with a view of sea) due to lack of available rooms at that time. We left our things in this room and went for a walk to the nearest store, grabbed a beer and returned back to the lobby. There we met other Russian tourists, talked a little and went for breakfast. It was included in the cost of our trip, free breakfast, and overall it was not bad, I expected worse, but it turned out okay. After breakfast, I slept a little for about 3 hours and went on for a walk. It was necessary to rent a bike in order to quickly and cheaply move around the city. Which I successfully did. It cost 50 yuan per day + a deposit of 300 yuan, which was eventually returned. By the way, it was an electric bike! It was the first time I drove something like this and I really liked it, very quiet and soft. It took me about half a day to get used to the local traffic, after which I felt comfortable on the road. One more thing, I lived in the Russian district of Sanya, so many signs could be seen in both Chinese and Russian. In general, this resort is considered Chinese and Russian; there are very few other foreigners here. I also saw guys from South Korea, but no more. This was my first day in this beautiful city. I will also post the rest on a daily basis. Thank you for reading to the end! โค๏ธ #fyp #sfw #travel #boy #china #hainan #sanya
