If you've been here for a while you've probably noticed that I don't update comics (or anything, really) as often as I say I intend to.
For a while I've had trouble maintaining motivation for any particular project. I usually begin strongly, but my energy to continue regular updates rapidly collapses. After I do finish, I convince myself that I can power through and be consistent next time, and I'm always wrong. This is very frustrating because I KNOW that I'm capable of doing consistent work.
I don't want to endlessly lie to you guys and to myself, so after I finish Lift With Your Back (at whatever speed I can manage) I'm going to put a pause on Patreon charges for a month or so and take a break to rethink what I'm doing and why I'm doing it.
