Minim beta 2 improves the main menu experience with new designs for various screens.

These screens have improved design:
• Quick Screen (Hold Menu)
• Context Menu (Hold Centre on an item or file)
• USB screen (though 3rd gen rockbox doesn't support usb, maybe it would benefit 4th gens)
• HOLD (Get a clock on HOLD screen)
• Settings Chooser (You'll get popup-style option chooser when hitting a "switch icon setting" which illustrates that you're choosing a setting

The While Playing Screen also has improvements
• db volume number, file type (MP3, FLAC) and bitrate in kbps will show up when adjusting the volume.

And some legibility improvements
• The "juice" in the battery is clearer thanks to a slight outline on the top of the battery
