Good news!

Version 0.058 is finally ready for release for you guys. You can download and test it from the links in this post! I decided to release it for all Patrons at or above Hostess tier at the same time because I'm super late with this one... But the next one will be released as usual with top tier patrons getting first dibs.

The bad news? Well, depends on what you were expecting. This update is super slight in the lewdness department. Jennifer's new questline has a few lewd renders, but that's it. It's mostly reading stuff and puzzling out some more stuff. If you like Ace Attorney, you might like it, I hope. Sadly, I can't afford the same banger soundtracks they do, but I did my best to pick some fun tunes. Also, I did have to rush the writing a bit as I wanted to move on to the lewd stuff. I might go back and rewrite some of the courtroom scenes in the next updates. Maybe.

And if you don't know or like Ace Attorney? I don't know...try it out? It takes a while to get going, but there's at least a couple of hours worth of clicking and reading in store for you guys.

The other good news is that I learned a lot about Ren'py from working on this update, since it has a lot of new mechanics and transitions I had to implement. Plus, I'm feeling super motivated now, so I'll try to burn the midnight oil while it lasts.

Changelog:

  • Jennifer's questline starts. Meet her on weekend mornings in the courtyard to progress
  • Fixed an old bug with Bella's dialogue forcing wrong dialogue to resume
  • Cleaning up some configs and unused files to reduce size
  • When enabled, cheats stay on until next version is released
  • An amazing new feature: you can now click on the bed in your home to open the rest menu! Wow!
  • Jennifer's questline is mainly non-lewd with only few lewd stuff in it
    Expect heavy reading and slight puzzle work - hopefully I wasn't too cryptic or out there with the puzzles
  • So, nothing too lewd this time, I'm afraid, but the next update will be mainly about lewd content and some UI updates, so yay?
