First of all thanks to all the people supporting me on patreon, it really has helped.
According to my diagnosis my arm should be way better than it is, the pain should be less and the movement should be a lot more. It didn't help that I got a phone call from my PT who pretty much disagrees with my diagnosis, I'm trying to get another x-ray done in the next few days just in case they missed something. I was diagnosed with an upper radial fracture but I have no rotation what so ever in my lower arm. They also cut my cast off after one day which was the only thing giving me support yet after researching this fracture on the internet and speaking to someone who also had this fracture in both cases they had a cast on for one week.
As it stands now even a movement of 3-4mm in any rotation of my arm is excruciating as my muscles spasm and the pain goes straight up to a 10, grabbling my arm with my good arm and holding it is the only way to stop the pain so you can imagine even getting up out of chair or anything that involves movement is like trying to defuse a bomb, I have to be extremely careful.
When the specialist was telling me about my fracture and what I had to do and should be able to do it felt like he was talking about something I did not have as the things he said were impossible with what I've got. So something is horribly amiss here and my quality of life is absolutely dreadful at the moment, your messages of support are very encouraging and help a lot but I am unable to reply to any of them at this moment as I cannot type (my good arm is permanently gripping my broken arm to prevent spasms) Thankfully I have Cass who was able to type this up for me.
I will keep you informed of my progress and hopefully next week will bring better news.
