Map of the Heart | Chapter 1 - Thumbnails

Hey everyone! I'm very excited to finally have some concrete visual work done for this story after...a year and a half of working on the script. That time was def needed, but it's still cool to feel like I'm finally making something tangible. 

I'm keeping these a lot looser than my thumbnails for Délicatesse. I pretty much just want to make sure I've staged everything in a way that's readable and makes sense. Especially for the scene in orange - balancing six speaking characters is...fucking hard lmfao.
I've always heard you should try to keep scenes to 8-10 pages at the very longest, but if I did that, I'd be cramming way too much information on a page for that scene. I'm much happier breaking the length rule and having a complex conversational scene run smoothly, vs. creating something quick but disorienting. Regardless, this scene is the most difficult/complicated to stage in the comic, so I'll be happy to have it out of the way.
