Earnest Illustration - Flats

Hey everyone! I'm close to finishing up this illustration. I think I want to go the same route as I did with Kindly's illustration, but I want to try something a little more dramatic with the color. We'll see how it goes!

April's sketchbook will be up tomorrow. Thank you so much for your patience as I put it all together! Then, I should have the final for this illustration up by Tuesday at the latest. 

My surgery is on Wednesday, so I'll probably have an update on what I'll be doing art-wise in a couple of weeks. I just wrapped up pages on a graphic novel, so I'll have a lot more time to explore more of my own story ideas post-recovery. 

We've also sent out a second draft of Map of the Heart to sensitivity readers, and we'll hopefully have that script finalized by the end of the summer. I'd love to post some process work for Mapheart as I start working on pages, so let me know if you'd be interested in that! That's still a ways off, but it's good to think ahead.
