June Update and Schedule Preview

Happy June!!!

Honestly, time is flying by so fast this year it's not even funny. Soon it'll be winter again 😨

This month I'm doing something a little different for movie choices. They are all poll winners!

We had the "Numbers Poll" in May, and you guys ended up having a tie... I think it was planned, and you're all in cahoots!

Next, I asked on Patreon for movie suggestions and that the 5 movies with the most likes would be put onto a poll. That being said, I've decided to take the top 8 movies and put them on 2 separate polls; one on YouTube and one on Patreon. For the poll on Patreon, as usually you'll be able to vote on more than one option, but for the YouTube one, you can only vote on 1 movie.

The 8 movies are all so different, that I'm really curious to see which ones will win 😁 I had my trusty random number generator sort out which 4 movies would be in which poll.. so good luck to all! Just a reminder that even a movie does not win, it doesn't mean that I'll never watch it! I do keep track of all the results so future Vero can check them out when choosing movies to watch each month.

Reminder about spoilers

Like I mentioned in last month's post, this is the first time that I am watching a movie, movie franchise or TV series. I have a "NO SPOILERS" rule that I stick by, and seeing as you all know that I love to read the books that the movies are based on, it only makes sense that you also don't give spoilers for the books, seeing as movie adaptations usually have some differences from the books. Sometimes the differences are minor, but sometimes they are major.

Remember when you watched/read it and had no idea what was coming next? I want to experience the same thing, so please do not give any information about the movie/tv series/book that has not already been given. If there is something that is important but we don't find out just how important it is until later in the series/franchise, please don't tell me "oh pay attention to this in the future". Please remember that you have all the information while I only have what has been shown.

Please keep in mind that I LOVE being surprised. For certain franchises/tv series I do have someone read most of the comments that I feel may contain spoilers, and have them summarize the non-spoiler parts/parts that give information that I'll find out later.

We're finishing up "Bad Batch" this weekend, for which I'm very sad! This series has been so incredibly fun that I never want it to end 😭 Also, "The Acolyte" is coming out this month, and seeing as the other live action shows are not needed, I'll be watching this at the same time as you guys!!

I'm really curious to see what it'll be about. At the same time I'll be releasing "Tales of the Jedi/Tales of the Empire" since those are short series.

We are also finishing Arcane this month!! That means it'll be time to start another TV series 🤩I'm not 100% decided on which one to tackle next, but I'll keep you updated throughout the month.

Patreon Producer and Marble Winner movies

This blurb is for those who aren't sure what these two things are. My Producer tier on Patreon allows you to choose a movie each month for me to react to (though some movies may be refused due to having seen it already, or any other reason). The spots are limited, so I don't accidentally have to watch more movies than I have time for lol

Same with the Marble Winner, everyone that is in the TV Series tier or higher, automatically gets their name entered. It's basically like pulling a name out of a hat, except it's a random Marbles on Stream race. You don't have to do anything, except choose a movie if you are the winner 😁

I am planning on doing some future races live on stream, so you can join the chat and witness the race in real time!
