Game version 0.3.0 - New faces in new places

So this patch continues the main story a bit : ) I thank everyone for their patience with me once again.

New features:

  • New area: The waterways. Access it through some events spread out through the Aqueducts area.
  • New Hub: The drowned maid - a tavern for the sleezy underbelly of Wetlock. Will be expanded upon with more content in time : )
  • New character: Srih, our first friendly scalie. Runs the drowned maid
  • New Gladiator: Sir Gumsworth - Can be practiced against in the area (I need to make a character select for this next).
  • The lesser croconoid win scene is done
  • New spell: Dispel. Can be found in the waterways
  • New ring puzzle and a number puzzle
  • New items: Sewer brew and Mud-scato wine. Sold by Srih
  • New enemy: Thief leader, is encountered through an events
  • Some small events are made for the waterways, but nothing too big
  • New status effect: Dumb drunk.
  • Added sound effects to the spells: Smite, puritan and last prayer
  • Added sound effects to the cumquat monster
  • Added sound effects to the moohmin monster
  • Added sound effects to the great bulbkin boss
  • Added sound effects to the bandit enemy
  • Added sound effects to the dunken oaf enemy

Changes

  • Updates to the smut scenes involving the red slime enemy
  • Some updates to the starting UI, like a close button (it never occurred to me that was missing ^^; )
  • Many tweaks to how the code is set to handle the story scenes, making it easier for myself
  • Renamed Moira's romance scenes to some more fitting names

Fixes

  • Fixed that throwables during combat would appear behind the character sprites
  • Fixed that you were unable to change spells since last patch (my bad)
  • Fixed a bug where dragging items on the inventory would sometime not render the item icons
  • Fixed that companion attacks weren't triggering monster hurt sound effects
  • Fixed that eating certain foods would break the game (Again, my bad)
  • Fixed that the game didn't properly register that you had reached max level, still presenting you with the option to level up
  • Fixed that player abilities during combat where white squares
  • Fixed that status effect icons would sometimes be behind the combat sprites
