Hi, I hope you are all doing well.

Been sometime since the last blog.

I have a bunch of news.

First, I've invested in a new GPU, I was waiting for the release of the 4090 from nvidia but turns out the pricing in Europe is absurd, there's also some other problems like the massive TDP and power supply cable problems... So I decided to get a 3090 instead as my main problem with my 2080 was 8gb vram limit. Now my life is way easier with 3090 24gb of vram it also decreased the render times from 45-60 minutes to 12-15 minutes. (QRD, the updates should come out quicker)

There's also the reason of why I didn't make a devblog post sooner. Unfortunately the writer of the game "Theo" couldn't deliver in time so we decided it was the best for both to stop working together for now.

Here's a message from him:

Overall, I'm just disappointed with myself. In 2016 I was diagnosed with  Lyme Disease and every year since I've been getting better all the  time... until 2022. This year I haven't been doing as well as I was in  2021 and seem to be regressing towards the mean. Which kinda sucks to be  me, but shouldn't hold back this marvelous game we've been working on  together.  To that end, V19 is looking for a new writer to take over  this story. I whole-heartedly support this decision and have been  pushing V19 to do this for a few months now. V19 is an awesome and  optimistic person who always felt that I would get better soon and get  back to my previous writing abilities. We've finally both agreed that it isn't fair to the fans that there is so much delay between releases due to my health issues. So, we're looking for a new writer and hoping to push out new releases on a more reliable schedule. Personally, I am  looking forward to every one of V19's renders and seeing what develops with this game. I will continue to assist as I am able, but the new  writer will have my full support. With Love and Lust, Theo Malt aka. L7Bear.

I've finally found a new writer some days ago, "Ben Rosewood", we tested several writers for the position and selected the best work, we are working with the new writer nonstop since then, he's adapting incredibly well to the game and we are already deep in development again. You can check their work at: https://chyoa.com/user/Ben%20Rosewood

I hope you keep supporting us in this adventure. This project has become one of my few beloved things.

My aim is to release Chapter 3 in november, I will do everything I can to deliver before the 20th.

The update cycle would be reduced significantly (New GPU and new writer) from a relative 3 month cycle to a real 2 month cycle from Chapter 4 onwards.

Thank you for your support.

Happy early Halloween :)
