Ingrid Concept - 2

The design was progressing well.

I chose to put black bands on her arms, and I drew a crazier look, to emphasize Ingrid's personality.

Almost everything seemed perfect, but although I really liked Ingrid's hair, I began to think that it wasn't evil enough.

So I created a rough draft in the top right corner, to try out some new hair, and the result convinced me.

At this point I want to reveal that while I was drawing Ingrid I never thought of her as a black girl, can you believe it? In the next post I'll show you the colors I had in mind from the beginning and that I then decided not to use.
