Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well and are in good health. Thank you so much for everyone's support and for being here as long as you have. To the veteran Patrons and to the newer Patrons, thank you so much for your continued support.
I've been talking to other Artists on Patreon and on Twitter, and they have been giving me some helpful advice on how to best do commissions and how to manage them.
Lately I have been feeling that I'm falling behind schedule for the commissions. Many of you have requested comics, and those just generally take a while to complete.
Things have been in motion in my personal life with trying to find a new place to live, my current day-time job unemployment because of COVID19 *I didn't get sick, my job is just not available, and might not come back* And now, my fiancée had a real bad fall and dislocated her elbow, so I'm taking care of her while she heals, which can take up to 6 weeks just for healing, but perhaps up to a year for rehabilitation.
I really appreciate your patience and I'm grateful to everyone who has been empathetic and understanding. Thank you so much.
The main point is that I will be changing things here and how I inquire commissions, and how I will conduct my Patreon.
I will no longer take commissions through Patreon. It will be a place only for support, and for which will get you some cool things, and it will have it be cheaper!
I will start taking commissions over Twitter, doing a slot system. Like I mentioned before, I do not want to rush any of the commissions so as to give you the best quality art, and I feel with having a smaller load, regardless of what the request is will be easier to maintain. Transactions for requests will be through PayPal, and this will also save on any taxes Patreon has you currently paying. I will make a sheet listing my prices for commissions that will be similar to what I'm currently asking for, but more details on that soon.
My Patreon will be designated as a place for consistent grassroots support. I will still have pictures for downloading, PSD files, and for my higher tiers, I will include things like access to watch me streaming my art, and anything else I can think of that will be of interest to you.
What do you think about this? I would love to know what your thoughts are and the more feedback I get the better understanding I will have moving forward.
I will proceed to continue working on commissions you requested up until this point. The ones who I still need commission requests from are as follows.
June Commissions: Zapor666, Zontaxthetaxman, Kaeru
July Commissions: SirCalibur, CammyCams, Donnie G, Zontaxthetaxman
August Commissions: Internal Studios
Anyone who has been subscribed through June - till now and haven't asked for another request, please let me know through private message. I will put you in the month you subscribed for but didn't ask for a request till now.
The one's who have gave me their request I will be working as diligently as possible on them, and continue to provide updates on their progress.
In total, I have 15 requests to complete from June, July, and beginning of August.
Once every request has been finished, then I will open up commissions through Twitter, which is @the_knobbit.
The Tiers will be changing, from prices to rewards.
Please, I encourage anyone who has questions or comments to come talk to me. I will try my very best to qualm any uncertainties.
I will make the changes earliest by Wednesday, latest by Friday.
