Hello hello, February is coming to a close and so it's time for me to present to you what I've been working on for the Patreon content. For now I'm sticking to the After Effects file until I think of something else - I've been wondering, are high resolution wallpapers something you are interested in?
Anyway for this month I've got an After Effects file for you that you can use to quickly and easily add CineStill 800T-style halations to your video.
How to use: Open the project file and import your (ideally already colour graded) footage. All you need to do now is replace the two layers in the composition with your footage. To do this select the layer you want to replace and the imported footage. Then hold the ALT key and drag and drop the footage on top of the selected layer. After Effects will then replace that layer with your footage, but keep the effects. Do the same with the second layer and there you have it!
I'll be posting this month's Patreon video later today, which will show you in detail how to make this effect in both Photoshop and After Effects. But if you want to achieve this look quickly then this file can hopefully help you out.
I hope you like it! Cheers,
Teo
