Hi Friends!
I hope that you're all having a wonderfully festive (and safe) Christmas.
My Christmas was quite disappointing. I stayed up all night on Christmas Eve, hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa. Lit only by candlelight, I camped out in the corner of the living room for hours, hiding behind the Christmas Tree for him to arrive down the chimney. Unfortunately, I fell asleep in my position, and in my slumber, knocked over the candle, which set alight the Christmas Tree, and in a matter of seconds, turned the living room into a blazing inferno. In my panic, I did what I felt was most important; to absolve myself of the blame. So with the quickness of a cat, I ran from my home, across the street to the Maguire house. The Maguire's are a working class family, and have a son, Johnny, aged 11, who is often in trouble for committing petty crimes. I stood outside of Johnny's window, and in my deepest voice, bellowed a hearty "Ho ho ho". After a few moments, Johnny, curious as to whether Santa Claus was outside of his home, pulled back the curtains, and opened his bedroom window. As he peered his head into the cool night air, I quickly grabbed him from around the throat, and pulled his entire body out of the window. He tried to scream, but my vice-like grip around his neck made it but a futile exercise. Like King Kong carrying Ann Darrow through the jungle, I made my way back toward my house, with Johnny in my snare. The house, now entirely engulfed in flames, had but minutes before it would be lost forever. Through the molten heat, and heavy smoke, I dragged Johnny through the front door, and with a mighty swing, hurled him into the blaze of the burning Christmas Tree. In the following days, it was determined by the authorities that little Johnny Maguire, in an attempt to break into my home, to steal the presents from under my tree, had inadvertently knocked over a candle, resulting in his own tragic, fiery demise. Needless to say, I was massively relieved, however couldn't help but feel a twinge of sadness that once again, I didn't get to see jolly old St. Nick.
Anyway, onto the update!
So on Dec 31st, the below video will be uploaded to the channel:
I'm NOT going to be charging Patreon supporters for this video. It's not a review, and didn't take too long to put together, so I just wanted to let you guys know! The audiobook that I listen to is over a half-hour long and the jokes are absolutely HORRENDOUS. Again, it'll be up first thing on New Years Eve!
In the meantime, I'm currently in the process of editing the voiceover recording of the Sopranos review and then I'll be straight into video editing. The script turned out to be the longest game-review script that I've ever written, so god only knows how long the final video is going to be. For now, I'm hoping that it will be out in early/mid January.
Looking forward to you guys seeing it!
