Hey, a quick heads-up that Patreon is having some problems with one of their payment processors, which resulted in a higher than average number of declines. It's apparently related to a payment system upgrade, and Patreon is currently working to resolve this.
If you don't want to wait for a proper fix, there are two things you can try now:
1. Contact your card issuer and confirm that the charge is valid, and retry
2. Change your payment method in Settings > Payment methods (likely hidden under 'More')
