A Witch's Descent into Canine Shadows

She arrived at the dilapidated building, where strange rumors never ceased. Faint sounds and voices echoed within.

"If you're a magical girl protecting the town, you can't just ignore this, right?"

With an unfazed demeanor, she boldly ventured further inside.

"Hmm, doesn't seem particularly unusual... huh? A dog?"

Inside the building, her attention was drawn to a dog staring at her.

"Could this be the one? Seems like it's better to rescue it."

As she approached and began to pet the dog, a sudden jolt from the side pushed her, and both the girl and the dog found themselves together in what seemed like a small capsule. Simultaneously, a door slammed shut.

"What! What's going on?"

Slime-like liquid flowed in from all directions, enveloping both the girl and the dog. Gradually, the slime integrated into her body, creating a sensation as if she were transforming from the inside out.

Soon, changes started occurring in her body. A snout resembling a dog's emerged in her field of vision, and brown fur with cute dog paws formed on her limbs.

A tingling sensation spread across her body, and beneath the slime, she could feel the texture of a dog's fur.

Minutes or hours passed—time became indiscernible. Finally, with a beep, they were released. She walked with an unaccustomed gait, her voice now a soft whimper.

"Woof..."

Her voice had already transformed into that of a dog, and she couldn't hide her surprise and confusion at her new form.

"Well, it seems to have worked. Come here."

A researcher-like man appeared, and together with her newfound canine companion, they disappeared.
