In 1981 Nintendo released the arcade game Sky Skipper in Japan. You have to fly the small plane and drop bombs on the monkey and other enemy with time limits before your gas run down.


This game was not successful and not many people liked it.. so Nintendo took back every PCB and change all the game board to Popeye for release in 1982.




In the past 10 years a UK game collector find one old Popeye board that came from the game Sky Skipper and he take 3 months to work with a professional who actually change it back to a Sky Skipper!! This had been try before but was always impossible to do!




He then found out that in Nintendo of America there was the only Sky Skipper game arcade left in the world : number 0001. Nintendo of America allow him to go inside and see the machine and scan the artworks! Amazing 😮




He then remade the whole arcade cabinet perfectly and it was now exist only in the UK where it can be played by fans.. this is really amazing story because even Nintendo in America supported the whole journey 🤗
