As my break's end is on the horizon, I wanted to inform you guys of some of the changes I'll be making to Patreon. Don't worry, it's nothing crazy or drastic.
Given that I've switched to Blender and the quality of my art has objectively increased (not to sound egotistical, but compare it to stuff I made months ago), I feel keeping prices as they are would be a disservice to myself. There is a lot more work that goes into creating art, sometimes I can get models that have textures and rigs set up, other times I have to set up the textures myself, port them, or even create assets. It should be mentioned that my old PC artworks will still be releasing into January, but more variety, like Spartans and Elites will be showing up. Art from my current PC will show up late January and start of February, which gets back to the basic "Elite x Elite" plappin' sorta stuff. With all that said, here are the changes coming to patreon on January 1st, 2021:
Patreon Changes:
-Removal of $1 tier.
-Lewd Legion and Thiccheili tiers increase by $0.50 to $4 and $6 respectively.
-Iron Lewds stay the same
Removal of $1 tier: Over the year or so it's been in place, hardly anyone has used it. I also see it as an unfair price to get access to a bulk of the patreon art and I feel those paying at the higher tiers are getting the short end of the stick.
$0.50 Price Increase: This is what I feel is the minimum for the increase in price in relation to art. I still want to standby my original claim of being an affordable, yet talented artist. I also feel it more simple to round up to an even price versus $3.50 or $5.50.
Apologies to the two people using the $1 tier. Hopefully you consider joining again, but to each their own. I hope the 50 cent price increase doesn't rub any Lewd Legion or Thiccheili members the wrong way either.
