It's almost been a month since Club 250 went live and we've accomplished a lot in that short time. So much work has been done behind the scenes but also on the scenes, and I wanted to showcase a before and after in this month's update picture so you can easily compare how the site has changed visually last month. By next month I expect just as many more improvements.
We've updated our about section with a list of of what's coming next. As ever I am regretful much work still needs to be done behind the scenes, since that work cannot rouse much excitement, but there are a lot of very visible improvements to come on that list. I want to engage more with my backers, so please tell me which things you value most to help me plan what to do next.
According to Alexa, Steam 250 (#197,817) still trails far behind its contemporaries, such as SteamDB (#6,516) Steam Spy (#77,623) and even Steam Charts (#11,683), the latter of which which just tracks number of players over time. But despite its singular focus, it's still far ahead in terms of Alexa score, which is based on monthly users. Is it just that ranking games is less valuable than counting players? I believe not. Either we need to put more work into marketing or we need to work harder on our features to attract and retain interest. Therefore, whether you are a backer or not, I am interested in all ideas and opinions on how to improve the site. You can leave a comment here, join the Discord or DM me.
