Notices Somatra and the next versions.

Hi, patreons today some news can be each bad or good that depending on your own opinion about the facts;

I currently working on a somatra remake on RPG maker mv.

Q: Why you are changing the engine to RPG maker mv?

A: Simple renpy by itself ins't capable to deal with the amount of maths that there is on somatra. I talk with the renpy creator and he convinced me to change the engine like I said somatra is an RPG, not a visual novel, on RPG maker I can do things away faster and with higher quality 

So I'll keep updating the renpy version, with less content just to keep it active but most of my time is using the RPG maker mv version.

When the Rpg maker mv version reaches the same amount of content as renpy I'll officially discontinue the renpy version and I'll keep going with the RPG maker on the renpy version will become legacy content and will have download links to the lasted version on my Patreon.

I did this because I have only two choices:

Making a visual novel on renpy solves all the problems but I don't like a full visual novel game so I don't see myself writing one. That's why I chose the RPG maker mv version.

It's perfectly acceptable if you as my Patreon won't support me anymore because you like the renpy version but I ask you for a chance. I'm doing really beautiful work (see on attach) on RPG maker mv.


I did this trying to attract more people to somatra and be able to live from that, few people are really disposed to help a game with that amount of lag. And for sure I'm doing this for my patreons I want you to play a game that doesn't make your pc explodes.
