Being vulnerable is how you get to form authentic connections that truly matter. After all, if they don’t want you on your worst day, they don’t really deserve you on your best day 🫂

It's hard to trust people. It's hard to talk about your fears. It's even harder to talk about your passions and dreams at times. It's painful to open up about traumatic events and it's scary to give someone the power to use it all against you, everything that you've shared about so openly.

But still, we have to try. For the sake of the genuine connections that'll change our whole perspective on life and people and what the world can feel like when it's filled with hope, kindness and mutual understanding... or at least the willingness to understand. But we have to try. Because if we don't give people that chance, how can we expect that someone would be gracious enough to give us one?
