Hey, so I just wanted to tell you guys that for when it comes to patron requests, I will no longer be accepting any that are multi part / comic-style or the like, so anything with more than 2 panels of art, essentially. If your request is something simple like "Yuka blasting a villain" or something like that, then great!! However, to reiterate-- if your request is not able to be simplified into 2 parts or less, then I won't be accepting it, or else we will have to modify the idea, because of a few important reasons:
1. My bf told me that he noticed I was spending way too much time this month stressing about art and whatnot, instead of what really brings in my main strain of income (which most of you already know is NOT art lol, heck I don't even have art comms open), and honestly our income has lowered because of my irresponsibility of being too hyper-focused attention on that
2. I simply feel like I am out of my depth to do so much art at this moment in time, as I feel am not as skilled as other artists (who come to mind, like Arejay, who seems willing and able to pump out a bunch of in depth, sometimes even lengthy art requests from his patrons every week, not even just month!!)
3. I hope I don't come off as rude for saying this, but I also admittedly feel like $20 is kinda low for a big comic-like project that is 3, and sometimes 4 panels long. I would sooner open commissions for maybe like $60 bucks to do 4-part panels or comics, except I don't want to open commissions cause I feel my art isn't good enough for that yet. And, as most artists will tell you, comics, lead alone fully colored and or rendered comics are very time consuming, considering you have to make multiple different poses of each character, multiple text boxes, and render each individual character per panel. So most artists charge a hefty price to do multiple panels or comics, instead of just the 1 or max 2 character art
4. I feel like I haven't had any down time to work on my own personal art projects because once I am finished catching up with all of my art requests and such, I feel burnt out and almost disinterested in working on my own art projects that I had been wanting to do
So due to those reasons, I will be limiting the requests to 1 to 2 panels max when it comes to you guys' requests!! Thanks for your understanding, guys <3
