plan questions

Hola Sexpla(i)nauts,
Time for some updates and questions from your internet sexologist. I love sharing my plans with you and getting your input. Of course no expectations. You’re not responsible for my course of action but it is wonderful to learn from you.
As you may know, I travelled north in the RV with 7 dogs to spend the summer in Missoula. Now I’m writing in ski pants to cope with snow and gearing up to head south. Before I head out there are some housekeeping things to address very unrelated to sex:
- I’d like to get a new phone and maybe phone plan. I’m currently using a Pixel 2 but it is out of storage and no matter how much I delete I can’t get it to relax. I’m also on a prepaid Verizon plan but I’m open to switching to a contract if I can get hot-spotting data in Mexico. Turns out, where I live, the internet carrier has a limited number of lines so I’m thinking I can get better internet through my phone. Is that a thing? Do any of you specialize in phone plans and international accessibility?
- I’m thinking about starting the drive south on the 5th after the elections. It will take me three days of driving in the states to get to the border. Seems scary to be driving at this time. Should I try to go earlier or stay later?
- I’m trying to renew insurance for the RV (which has been awesome and so fun to sex educate with during the pandemic). It sounds like I have to pay $814 to keep a plan in the U.S. and pay an additional $592 for the time I’m in Mexico. This is through Progressive and their Mexico affiliate. Thoughts?
- I’m thinking about leaving DFTBA (the merch business). There are lots of pros and cons. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
- I will be doing another shipment soon for those of you who are pledged at the Lets Get Physical Level or higher. Please make sure your addresses are up to date.
- There’s probably more to talk about like love, life, and the pursuit of happiness but this is what I’ve got for today. Feel free to leave general wisdom below and suggestions for next steps. I’m in awe of you and really truly adore your perspective.
Thank you for listening and being a business partner. I’m grateful for your assistance and hope you’re doing well.
Curious,
Lindsey
