I'm being courted by two different ad agencies to partner with companies that offer sent-to-your-home birth control. I haven't committed to either so I'm in uncharted territory as a sex educator loosely working in advertising. If you have any suggestions that would be really helpful!
If you aren't sure how to navigate this but want to help choose the brand here's what I can tell you:
Brand A: It seems like they're less established so not available all over the country. They do emphasize birth control though and many different types. They approached me first and the contact person has been great to work with. I don't like the name of their company but it is easy to remember and short.
Brand B: They approached me second. They look a lot more put together. I like their logo because I'm a nerd and their website because it is pretty but they don't tell you a lot upfront, like whether or not you can get your specific type of birth control from them.
I'm so excited to work with one or even both of these brands because I want to help people to understand what I'm already curious about. I think the service is awesome -- it totally tells the patriarchy to fuck off!
Now I just want to move forward wisely and kindly.
Curious,
Lindsey
