2. NordVPN approached me about sponsoring a Sexplanations’ video and I got really excited. Usually the show is sponsored by sex-related companies (sex toys, lubes, and erotic films). For a tech company to reach out is a big deal and it says a lot about them. They’re not afraid to be affiliated with healthy sexuality and they value what we’re doing.

I was already working on one about yeast infections and thought it would be a smart match so I gave it as my top suggestion. I explained that while a yeast infections video would get fewer views than sexier topics it would reach a really important audience: lots of women.

When I am plugging a company that trusts me and cares about what we’re doing, I don’t mind having their advertisements in my precious videos. I feel grateful.
