Lindsey here. I'm taking a quick break on my couch with my brindle dog to write and tell you about my latest trouble-shooting endeavors.
1. My iPhone 7 -- which I chose for it's water resistant capabilities -- has been water damaged to the point of death. I cannot retrieve anything from it unless I drive three hours to a workshop that will charge me $400-500 to work magic. My plan is to see how much or how little is saved to iCloud then reflect on what all I will lose in the process of handing over my dead phone for a replacement before making a final decision. Your input is MUCH appreciated.
2. I'm 65% sure that my partner and I and brindle dog will take on #vanlife this December with the intent of driving around the country offering a sort live Sexplanations to communities at no cost to them. This is not a project I'm doing with Complexly. This would be all Lindsey -- no profit, pro bono, volunteer, service. I'm looking for people who want in on the planning stages of this, a team of people dedicated to the mission who will help me set up the indiegogo/kickstarter stuff, determine a budget, help with computer programming, maybe even things like fixing up a beater van, and writing the live version of Sexplanations with me. If you're interested, please send an email to [email protected] with a brief run-through of how you'd like to help and why you'd be a good fit for the think tank.
3. I'm thinking about doing a video series specifically around the travelling sex education project. What do you think of the name RoadHead? If you're not a fan or have something better in mind. Please share.
4. If haven't seen already, there's a surveymonkey for the 24 hour celebration that you helped make suggestions for. This survey is open for anyone to rank their favorites so I have a better idea of how to prioritize time. 7. Any words of wisdom are always welcome. I've never seen Sexplanations as a one or two person project. It's a community endeavor and I certainly couldn't and wouldn't want to do it without you. If you ever notice there's something that I've missed or could do better or could do more, please let me know. And that includes if you think the sex ed tour is a bad idea too.
