Sexplanations is very close to reaching 500K subscribers. I seems that the video we did a while back on cucking was hosted on  a main page of YouTube and created a huge spike in our analytics. We're close. Really close. 

On the downside, Patreon is having to age-restrict content and the Patreon page for the Sexplanations Podcast requires you to click that you're 18 or older to view it. We've already contacted them about this, mainly to protect this page from the same censorship and hopefully they do not age-restrict the Sexplanations YouTube Patreon page. 

Fundraising has been amazing! Three new sponsors are negotiating contracts with us. Money is coming in through PayPal, checks, and Patreon. There's a lot of sharing of our videos and so many comments cheering us on. I have to say that I'm especially impressed by all of you who increased your pledges. That to me is this huge compliment because you continue to believe in and value us. 

Last week between rafting in Idaho and a family reunion in Ohio, I went to the physical therapist to have my Kegels evaluated. The PT took an ultrasound of my bladder with things in my vagina and yes, we captured it all on video for an episode. 

I'm still working on organizing lab time for a squirting episode and have loosely mapped out the rest of 2018 in terms of topics. If you have any requests, please share them with me. 

Today I'm working on a video about sex shame, which is probably why I'm taking a break to write to you. It's overwhelming how horrible we all are to each other around sex, thinking that shaming one another is some easy way to get people to behave. Many of the stories I've read about shame are about abuse. It's bad. 

Don't worry, I'll put a hopeful twist on it. 

In other news, I just got back from a reunion with 40 of my family members. My partner and I are still absurdly happy. The next round of flowers are blooming in my garden. I've found a brilliant therapist. My friends are taking good care of themselves. And my kids have graduated from high school.
