The reason I'm hiring is because there's a lot to accomplish and I need help. My mission is to sex edutain the universe. That means going to schools, going on tour, writing a Sexplanations-like book for everyone and specifically one for little kids, maintaining the YouTube channel and podcast, researching to stay curious, and travelling to new places to learn on the spot.
We're also putting some effort into rebranding Sexplanations including a new set and more merch because that's a cool way to get excited about community.
On Wednesday we'll be publishing a DIY Dildos video. Next Wednesday is How to Eat Ass, then I head to Minnesota for a big sexual health conference. Chelsea and Lauren from the Financial Diet will be visiting Missoula a few days after that and I hope to do something with them on saving money in your sex life. The end of September my uncle will be in town. He's a pastor in Kansas so I'm hoping for some interesting dialogue (maybe even a podcast) on waiting until marriage and Onanism.
Merch-wise I'm busy working on a shirt that has a Rube Goldberg Sexplanations machine on it. There's a lot of other items which keep my mind busy so again an assistant is important.
As of right now I won't be headed to Vegas and the brothels for interviews. There's a lot of other time commitment on my plate and it will take some effort to coordinate but we'll get there! Returning to a second Sexplanations episode per week is also a work in progress. This is more of a budget piece because it is expensive to double everyone's workload but that's also something we have in mind and heart to accomplish.
You help a great deal with all of this happening, by the way. YouTube ad revenue is now bringing in less than $200 a month that we split among the Sexplanations team. If it weren't for your help, Sexplanations and Dr. Doe as you know me wouldn't be things. I wouldn't be able to write a book or demonstrate a sex swing to thousands of strangers, and there wouldn't be a community of devoted and inspiring fans who support my endeavors.
Anyway, those are some of my updates. I'll continue to leave you notes in the coming months to check-in.
