Technically, my current in-progress story is Farm Life, which I hope to be the next novel I finish. It is, of course, on hold because I have another priority first: the publication of the Housepets! Omnibus.
This omnibus is going to be a lot more complicated than putting together the previous comics--I am making CERTAIN that the print colors are (barring KDP's screwups) good in print and MUCH more readable than the yearlies were. This likely will take more than one round of proofing, so I do not expect to have the book out this year. I hope to have it out in January.
In case you haven't been keeping up, the Omnibus will release in two volumes--one with the strip format comics (books 1-8) and one with the page format (books 9-14); both will be available in hardback at roughly the same time. Also, given KDP's pricing structure, the list price will likely need to be about $100 though I may be able to get it lower; either way, when it gets closer to publication time I will take preorders for signed copies so I can do mailing myself and save patrons a large chunk of the cost.
