IMPORTANT: If you have any issues launching the game, please make sure your antivirus has not removed the 'REC.EXE' file located in the 'Data' folder. For some reason, some antivirus programs get a false alert for it. The EXE file is simply the original RE1.EXE but with various hex edits made to it to change core gameplay functions.

IMPORTANT: If you have any graphical glitches caused by your computer's graphics-card, go inside the 'Data' folder and unzip the files in the 'GFXpatch.zip' into the same folder it is stored inside. This will fix all graphic glitches such as black boxes around sprites, red pixels on 3D models etc.

I would highly recommend playing through Episode 0 and Episode 1 again before jumping into Episode 2 as there are some story elements you may have forgotten about which are referenced in Episode 2.
