Hi folks, so Containment Episode 1 has been out for a week and so far the feedback seems to be universally positive which has been a great source of joy and validation for what 've been working on. It was considerable hard work getting the episode as well made and polished as it was, minus one or two things which are out of my control for now, such as the death animations on the running zombies.
I figured I'd also add a little teaser image of a model for a character who will have a major role within the Containment saga. The model still needs some finishing touches but I'm sure you can guess who she is and what her role will be!
Anyways, I just wanted to provide some information on what my plans are for the coming month ahead. First things first, I want to take a few days off just to unwind, refresh my brain and just get myself ready for another development crunch. I hope that's okay with you all as the last thing I want to do is burn out and not provide you generous supporters with the best content I possibly can make...
After a short bit of rest I will be working on my modding tool some more as well as making tutorials for you all to follow so you can get making your own basic mods too!
Then, I will be taking a week for experimenting with code to see what else I can learn and push the game to do... As you see with Episode 1 I've pushed the engine further than even Capcom did with the features utilised and I hope to continue doing that for Episode 2!
Then comes the heavy crunch period for me working on Episode 2. I have some interesting ideas already for what I want to achieve and hopefully it will be something very special for you all when you get to play it, just as the first episode was...
As always, I just want to thank you all for your continued support and passion, truly, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
