Greetings you wonderful Patrons, I hope all is well. Just a small update as to what I've been up to the last week. I've been looking into RE1 modding some more both Hex Editing the original PC release (As it can be ported to PSX) as well as updating my Classic Rebirth tutorials. Classic Rebirth makes things a lot easier when it comes to modding but I still have a huge passion for modding the game without shortcuts because, as mentioned above, the information and knowledge can be used on the PSX version.
While some within the modding community don't see the point in modding the PSX version (something which I actually agree with...) I do see WHY it has a following. Many people all over the world emulate the original games on their android devices and the potential audience for mods with those devices is way larger than those who strictly play on PC.
Anyways, I've also been looking into RE2 a little more. I have been looking at much faster ways to quickly modify enemies, doors and items and it seems Hex Editing the RDT file is the best method to achieve this. I still have some experimenting to do on things like changing 3D models in the room (Think Items on the floor, or statues you push etc) as this can be quite buggy sometimes using my old method. As with everything, trial and error is my method and when I find the most efficient and simple methods I write them up as tutorials for future reference.
A quick question to everyone here, while some of you may not want to support the tutorials tier and that's fine, if you were to, would you rather them be in a video format or a text/image format?
