Contour practice

This was drawn with no underlying sketch, it was just a contour drawing. It was done from looking a sketch though, which definitely helps with placement. But this type of drawing might be what I do in the future for nearly everything. Not having underlying construction and sketching means that my "sketch" IS my lineart. And trying to draw over my sketch to get clean lineart is my least favorite part of drawing, and a very difficult thing for me to get right. They all tend to look lifeless and gross imo. But if i can get better at this type of drawing, then not only will I avoid the misery of having to trace my sketch for line art, but my speed will DRASTICALLY improve! I put in a little speech bubble, and that almost looks like a believable comic panel! Its very difficult though, so it'll require a lot of practice to get proficient at. But I think its a promising direction!
