Eva gets the upper hand in the fight against Alicia!

For anyone who hasn't read the first three chapters, here's the pretty convoluted explanation of what's going on: there are two rival trillionaires, Alicia (the one on the left) and Sabrina (not pictured here.) Alicia had an engineer named Mina make a size-changing robot version of her, called Eva, which was going to act as a remotely pilotable surrogate body that could also do tasks on its own. That android used rare crystal nanobots, both in its artificial brain, and also to give it size-changing powers. Mina was surprised to find out that the android's "brain" was self-aware, showing a human-level of intelligence.

But shortly before Eva neared completion, Alicia was experimenting with injecting similar nanobots into herself. She found that she could use them to give herself size-changing powers. The crystal nanobots were in short supply, so Alicia decided to scrap the Eva project, and use the nanobots to let herself grow even bigger!

But Mina, Eva's creator, didn't want to let her creation get destroyed. They went on the run together, and were ultimately captured by Sabrina, who uses drone-powered holograms to make heavily-armed giant surrogate bodies for herself, which she controls using VR. After capturing the android, Sabrina outfitted Eva with her own upgrades, giving her gaudy pink cat headphones and laser eyes. But after Sabrina used the android to demolish a city in a country she recently bought, Alicia found out about the missing android... and decided to reclaim her personally. And that's why they're fighting. Eva's trying to defend herself, Sabrina's trying to defend her stolen toy... and Alicia is trying to reclaim her property so she can scrap it for parts, and grow even bigger!

You know it probably makes a lot more sense if you just read the comic series!
